Sky Dwellers: A Bird Still-Life Workshop with Grant Perry

November 11-14 : 11am-2pm ET daily

Grant Perry joins East Oaks Studio for a 4 day workshop sharing his approach to painting birds, from start to finish. He will demonstrate his block-in and transfer method, the traditional “ébauche” underpainting technique, and his process of rendering the form in exquisite detail.

The major components of his process will be live, where you can watch him paint in real time while having your questions answered. All other steps in his process will be recorded and shared as bonus material, so you don’t miss a stroke.
